It's nice, but it definitely needs some type of refrain. You know, something catchy with full-bodied harmonies and a different beat than the rest of the song. Maybe take the beat from the industrial to something slightly more idyllic or dream-like; like the lonely feeling of a strong light relfecting off rusted metal.
Just some thoughts; I'm excited to hear the full version. :)

Sweet.

This is awesome. It's got a great wintery feel with a quick beat, I love it. I only have one suggestion; maybe try and emphasize the harmony between "instruments" throughout the song that same way you did from 1:34-1:55. That was freakin' cool. :D

It's alright.

It definitely needs more structure tho. At some points it sounded like your were just throwing random notes in there. On a positive note, I like the atmosphere it gives.

Thanks for the tips man, but I'm wondering where it sounded like random notes? 1:03-1:16? That's the closest random part I could hear, even know it wasn't made randomly. But about the bigger structure part, I didn't think it was quite needed because this wasn't meant to be built to sound so broad, just an easy to listen to song, and theres a couple of structured parts in this song, just not all :P But thanks for your intake and review man!

Not that this isn't fun, but...

Does it really belong in the audio portal? Granted it's the "audio" portal not the "song" portal, but this is really a place for songs not...comic book narrations. I feel like this should be made into a short flash. Could do pretty well, too; I like the comic. :)

You get a 5 because I like what you're doing, this just doesn't seem like the place for it.

Slow to start, but a great song!

Not quite a fan of 1:20, maybe could've used a better transition. Loved ~3:15. I like the Idea of your one short recurring piano riff placed throughout the song as the bass takes over the main melody. I also like your sparse yet effective use of the symbols towards the end. It gave it a very "new age" feel. Overall, nice song!

Artful use of crescendo. I love what you did at ~4:50. Unique and captivating melody. Fantastic and subtle harmonics. One suggestion, personal taste, you could've finished stronger. By that I mean towards the very end have the instruments build up to a burst of symphonic harmony; bring out the bass, add a second underlying melody (soft yet active), things like that. That way the cutoff would be more stark and abrupt. That may not be your thing but I think it would be interesting to try out. Anyway, just a few suggestions. Honestly, I think this is amazing as it is.

thanks! the reason it doesn't have a strong ending is because its a DJ mix, meaning it ends in a way that allows DJs to transition in to the next track by way of reducing the song to just bass and drums.
